His Journey
From Soviet Atheism to Christ
Growing up in Soviet Russia, Paul was raised in a Christian family that faced severe persecution for their faith. After fleeing to America, young Paul found himself on an 18-year spiritual journey — exploring atheism, Buddhism, Islam, and battling deep doubt.
As a curious child, Paul once famously dismantled his father's stereo looking for the tiny singers he was sure lived inside. That same relentless curiosity drove him to search for truth in every corner of human thought and philosophy. At age 20, that search led him home — to a personal, transforming faith in Jesus Christ.
Today, Paul channels that same hunger for truth into helping others find answers. His apologetics ministry, writing, and teaching are all shaped by his own journey from doubt to faith — making him uniquely equipped to reach skeptics and strengthen believers.
"Stay hungry for the meaning of life. The questions that keep you up at night are the very ones God wants to answer."
